California native, DYTCH66, is one of Los Angeles’s premier underground graffiti artists. His powerful, bold and expressive artistry has brought notoriety and respect to the once taboo art culture. Twenty years in the making, DYTCH66 specializes in murals, illustrations and graphic design work. His new 3D “Graffiti” style has been resourced for music videos and broadcast television.
The talented DYTCH66 utilized his visionary perspective, color analysis, and technical aptitude to inspire his signature “BIOMECHANICS STYLE”. His Biomechanics style aka “BIO STYLE” is the study of mechanical laws relating to the movement or structure of living organisms. “BIO STYLE”
derives from the word “WILD STYLE” an old school style of lettering still used by many graffiti artist today. DYTCH66 has enhanced his new 3D effect by adding a mechanical rawness to his art form. His ability to embed sophisticated messages within complex letter style and color schemes makes his art a subliminal message board and a visual voice to the community.
Currently, DYTCH66 owns Gallery 6ixty6, a showroom that provides affordable exhibit opportunities for all artist and creative professionals. He also works part time with a LAUSD high school to inspire art education within the Los Angeles inner city community. His urban art classes teach the fundamentals of typography, color theory and perspective through graffiti art. Gallery 6ixty6 is an intimate art venue available for classes and events.
